ABOUT US
In 1998, Grupo Savencia arrived in Uruguay and built a modern industrial dairy plant. Located in the country’s dairy heartland, just 50 km from the port city of Montevideo, the company has the heritage and experience gained after nearly 70 years in the sector, as well as cutting-edge technology and rigorously selected ingredients.

1998
Grupo Savencia arrived in Uruguay and, together with the largest local dairy industry, founded Bonprole Industrias Lácteas S.A.
2000
Production of semi-hard cheeses begins, opening doors to the domestic and Latin American markets.


2009
New technologies are employed to launch new lines of processed cheeses, sliced cheeses and sauces created for hamburgers, sandwiches and wraps.
2013
A line of cream cheese is introduced that’s ideal for sushi, pastries and baking, anticipating the needs of the modern market.
